if you ever need to do VFX work, pro res all the way. especially for pulling mattes out of green screen work. for the average user it makes no sense to deal with such large file sizes if its just going to be compressed down to a 720*480 social media platform. im so glad apple still thinks about the prosumer crowd and gives us the option.

keyframes just dont work everytime I go to change the mask it deselects the keyframe and changes the mask, its like the mask isn't connected to the keyframe

I accidentally vlogged my entire trip abroad in the wrong frame rate. The video is very choppy. I edit in iMovie, and when I slow the footage down by 50% I can see some improvement in the footage. But I wanted to know if it's possible to make the video playback at normal speed? I can't find the answer anywhere. Would love any help you can provide :(

I’m using hlg on the DJI mavic air 2. I was curious about the “ source clip-use media color space” option ? If I click Rec 709, it gives me a flat profile , closer to log. I was curious What is the use of this? Is it better to leave at hlg?

If you have nothing white in your shot then they shouldn't be all level. They are level because they are displaying whatever white is in your shot.

1:38 How would you make sure that the files are the same name when Mic 2 32 bit float recording file has a different name from recorded video regardless that Pocket 3 settings "Audio to Video Sync" is ON? All I could do is to find P3 Video file recorded at the same day and time as 32 Bit float file did. And this is a pain in the back. Even After I found simultaneously 32 bit float recorded file there is no way to just drag and drop it in Adobe premier Pro to synchronize with video. This is another pain in za butt. Keyer is gone and now it's called Green Screen Key but it's not working anywhere as good as before. My Green isn't disappearing and looks and if I manage to remove it, it comes back after a few frames.

Thanks for the Video! Just did it and after applying Gamma 2.4 it was too bright. Maybe it's because I over expose 2 stops while recording slog3? ... maybe I need a different gamma then.

Some footage is overexposed, some gets ok with this trick. All filmed with the same iphone. Who is it even possible to show the correct colors and then not be able to fix this on the exported video? So absurd...

Number one tip , clean your lenses. Finger prints soften the image and produce flare on bright lights. Think 90% of people don’t do this.

For iPhone 15 pro max - Neewer aluminum cage (2nd gen) + Freewell 67 mm treated 2-5 ND more useful. Smallrig cage with side handles if you would prefer universal cage.
